The Company’s Retail Business has grown to become one of Sudan’s largest petroleum retail networks with over 65 stations and 15 depots throughout the country. It continues to grow through the strategic expansion of its retail stations incorporating fueling, lubricant sales, ATM, LPG cylinders sales in selected service stationsand car services in selected service stations.

GAPCO was one the first two companies to introduce the LPG service in the Country back in the 1960’s. Despite a set back during the 90’s the Company revived recently, grown steadily, overcame many challenges, achieved numerous milestones, and in the process has come back as a leading LPG supplier in Sudan LPG market. We are currently operating 8 storage/filling plants in the country. Another 5 plants are planned for installation in 2018. We are a customer-focused company with a well defined distribution system, including own LPG tankers, which allows us to provide an uninterrupted supply of products combined with experience, safety and an elevated level of customer service commitment Bottled gas is available in a wide range of cylinders to cater to various segments as per their needs and requirements. We offer cylinder sizes (12.5, 15, 25, 50 kg), giving us the edge in catering for all kind of LPG installations.
The most cost effective solution for larger users with a higher consumption rate is a bulk tank installation. Tanks of various sizes are available at GAPCO to serve the commercial & industrial requirements. The appropriate size will depend on factors such as total estimated gas consumption at peak demand; physical constraints imposed by the site; access to installation and required frequency of delivery. These bulk installations are supplied on loan to our customers. GAPCO remains responsible for all related maintenance and safety procedures. In this segment we cover the following areas: hotels, restaurants, bakeries, industrial catering & other medium size industries and public institutions.
The company has entered into an exclusive distributor agreement with the International brand of Lubricants “VEEDOL” for marketing of its products in Sudan to facilitate its Retail Stations and meet the requirements of its customers in the commercial and industry sectors. Veedol Lubricants are approved by most of the world leading Engine Builders. The marketing of lubricants is supported with strong technical services programs.
The Company is involved in the distribution of a wide range of automotive and heavy duty engine oils, industrial lubricants and transmission gear oils. The distribution network includes the company stations, high street shops and car service centers. The company further strengthened its position in the market through direct supplies of lubricants to manufacturing industries, commercial fleet owners and customers in the agricultural sector.
The Company operates a network of strategically located storage depots, including facilities in El Gaily, Khartoum, and Port Sudan. The El Gaily and Khartoum depots are connected to the Khartoum Refinery through dedicated product pipelines, while the Port Sudan depot is linked via pipeline to the Port Sudan oil import jetty and the Sudanese Petroleum Corporation’s strategic tank farms. All primary depots are directly managed and operated by the Company, ensuring full operational control and compliance with industry standards.
In addition to its main terminals, the Company maintains a number of regional depots across various states, supporting the agricultural, commercial, and industrial sectors nationwide.
To support its logistics operations, the Company owns and operates a dedicated fleet of fuel and LPG transport vehicles serving both its retail network and commercial clients, complemented by specialized LPG dispensing units to ensure efficient and reliable last-mile delivery”
